People Plant Trees in partnership with the National Trust, Environment Agency and the Woodland Trust are hosting a series of tree planting days in the valley to enable everyone to be a part of this exciting project. The day will involve:
- A 3km (2mile) walk to the site
- Learn about the history of the site
- Learn how to plant a tree
- Learn how to cut and plant willow and alder pegs
- Plant as many trees as you like
- Tea and coffee
