Trees Need Love Too

People Plant Trees, members of the Maryport community, the Cultura Trust, and Raise: Cumbria Community Forest planted over 2,000 trees at Camp Farm in Maryport in March 2024, and now it’s time to go back and make sure they’re ok.We will be looking at all the trees one by one and

  • Replacing dead trees with new trees
  • Removing weeds
  • Making sure fences and tubes are in good condition
To find us walk out of Maryport and turn left opposite Netherhall School, or you can park at the school and walk up to meet us.
It might be wet, it might be muddy, it might be cold, there are no toilets or running water on site, so come prepared.
